**Job Description**
The Ryan Lab at Trinity College Dublin (TCD) is seeking applicants for a Research Assistant to act as Lab Manager. Led by Prof. Tomás Ryan, the group investigates the fundamental neurobiology of memory engram formation and function, employing an integrative approach that combines experimental techniques such as optogenetics, engram labelling technology, mouse transgenics, molecular biology, electrophysiology, calcium imaging, and behavioural experimentation to understand information encoding in memory engrams. The successful candidate will work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating initiative and good judgment to prioritize and accomplish multiple responsibilities, acting as a liaison between the lab and various university offices.
