**Job Description**
The Post-Doctoral Neuropsychologist at Stony Brook Medicine provides clinical consultations and evaluations for adult and pediatric patients with neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders. The role involves supervised administration, scoring, and interpretation of neuropsychological assessment measures, report writing, and interviewing/consultation with patients and families. Additionally, the position includes involvement in psychotherapy and/or family support groups, participation in departmental research programs, supervision of graduate psychology students, and professional advocacy activities.

• Demonstration of scholarship in neuropsychology equivalent to level of study (i.e., early career research)
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Psychology (Doctorate from an APA accredited program)
• Current predoctoral intern in psychology internship accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) (with letter documenting completion of all degree requirements by fellowship start date)
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Extensive experience in the administration, scoring, and interpretation of neuropsychological measures, principally with children/adolescents but also with adults
• Extensive experience in clinical interviewing of children, adolescents, parents, and individual adults
• Preliminary experience in neuropsychological report writing
Other:
• Eligibility for Psychology Limited Permit in New York State
• Relevant coursework in neuroanatomy, neuropsychology, psychometric theory, statistics
• Experience in supervised psychotherapy
• Experience with consultation liaison and team focused work in a medical and/or psychiatric setting
• Both inpatient and outpatient clinical experience
