**Job Description**
The Research Assistant will support all aspects of the Language and Literacy Lab’s large-scale research program at Dalhousie University, dedicated to understanding the skills children and adults need to achieve full literacy. The role involves coordinating data collection, administering tasks, communicating with partners, assisting in task development, data management, and disseminating research findings.

• Social media management (Asset)
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Arts or Science (with a major or minor in Psychology)
• Other related degree/diploma/certificate (e.g., Linguistics)
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Working with children and administering experimental and/or standardized tests.
Other:
• Satisfactory Criminal Record, Vulnerable Sector, and Child Abuse Registry checks.
• Class 5 driver’s license and willingness to travel to schools in HRM and rural Nova Scotia as needed.
