**Job Description**
Copenhagen Business School invites applications for a 3½-year postdoctoral position in Political Economy, focusing on Ukraine. This role involves collaboration between CBS (specifically the Department of International Economics, Government and Business – EGB) and the Danish Institute of International Studies (DIIS), supported by a grant for research on political economy in Ukraine. The successful candidate will divide their time equally between CBS and DIIS, carrying out their own project anchored in political economy, political science, or a related field, with a focus on state-business relations in Ukraine. Relevant topics include business tycoons, money in politics, public administration, corruption and anti-corruption reforms, and public policy related to trade and economic development in Ukraine. The position also includes nine months of teaching at CBS. The expected starting date is January 1, 2026 (negotiable).
**Skills & Abilities**
• Excellent research skills.
• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong skills in quantitative methods and/or qualitative methods.
• Research experience from Ukraine (advantage).
• Knowledge of Ukrainian language (advantage).
