**Job Description**
The laboratory of Professor Fei Li at New York University (NYU) is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist interested in chromatin biology and epigenetics. The NIH-funded projects focus on studying molecular mechanisms of epigenetics and chromatin organization using fission yeast *Schizosaccharomyces pombe* as a model organism. Planned projects utilize advanced approaches including molecular genetics, live cell imaging, biochemistry, genomics, and structural biology to address fundamental questions in epigenetics. **Skills & Abilities**
• Proven academic track record.
• Prior research experience in Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry, or Cell Biology.
• Experience with yeast genetics (desirable).
