**Job Description**
The Postdoctoral Fellow will explore synaptic processes and white matter pathways between remote brain areas in vivo in animal models, focusing on plasticity in the prefrontal cortex of mice. The project investigates neuronal micro- and macro-circuits that influence feeding behavior, particularly prefrontal cortex involvement in stimulus value selection and its plasticity. This will involve applying “all optical physiology” methods, combining calcium imaging with optogenetics in freely behaving animals.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Documented experience with neurophysiological methods, particularly imaging of brain networks
• Experience with chemo-optogenetics in behaving animals
• Documented experience of behavioral measurements in animals
• Programming with Python/Matlab (meritorious)
• Documented experience with calcium imaging and/or optogenetics (particularly meritorious)

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biomedical subjects
• Physical subjects

**Experience**
Other:
• Doctoral degree not older than three years from the application deadline (exceptions considered for special reasons)
