**Job Description**
The position focuses on studying the influence of phytochemistry and wheat cultivar mixtures on plant-microbiome interactions. The role involves characterizing microbiomes associated with plant roots to elucidate the effects of specialized root metabolites and cultivar mixing on microbiomes, and vice versa, their impact on plant performance and the suppression of root parasitic nematodes.

• Research experience in bioinformatic analyses of metabarcoding data, plant metabolomics or transcriptomics, multivariate statistical analyses, or soil microbiology.
• Teaching and supervision experience at the BSc and MSc level (preferred).
• Interest and experience in developing competitive national and international research applications (preferred).
• Insight into interactions between plants and microorganisms (preferred).
• Experience with high-throughput sequencing technologies (preferred).

Salary
Annual Salary: Salary depends on seniority as agreed between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations.
