**Job Description**
The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is recruiting a medical statistician to join a research project focused on cardiovascular risk prediction for individuals with immune-mediated inflammatory disease. The successful candidate will utilize advanced risk prediction methods to develop predictive models for cardiovascular disease, employing linked electronic health record data. This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop specialized expertise in risk prediction methodology within the context of electronic health records.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong quantitative skills.
• Expertise in a common statistical package such as Stata/R.
• Ability to work with large datasets.
• Commitment to multi-disciplinary and collaborative working.
• Some experience with observational data analysis.
• Familiarity with risk prediction.
• Experience using electronic health records, especially for risk prediction (desirable).

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s):
• Ph.D. or equivalent postgraduate degree in a relevant topic.
