**Job Description**
A postdoctoral position is available at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, commencing as soon as possible in late 2025 (ideally October 15, 2025) and concluding on December 31, 2026. The role requires candidates with excellent research credentials in algebraic geometry, funded by an ERC Advanced Grant “SYZYGY: Syzygies, moduli and topological invariants of groups”. Ideal candidates will demonstrate an affinity for specific topics within algebraic geometry, including moduli spaces, syzygies of algebraic varieties, algebraic curves, character varieties, hyperplane arrangements, abelian varieties, and K3 surfaces.
