**Job Description**
This position serves as an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator within the Child and Adolescent Anxiety and Mood Disorders Program (CHAAMP) at the UNC Department of Psychiatry. The role primarily involves leading research coordination activities for the Youth Behavioral Health (YBH) Study, and also supporting other CHAAMP-led research projects. The mission of the department is to improve health and well-being through leadership in patient care, education, and research, focusing on providing superb clinical care, preparing healthcare professionals, and developing outstanding health sciences research programs. The YBH Study aims to examine risk and protective factors impacting clinical outcomes and readmission among adolescents admitted with suicidal thoughts and behaviors.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively and professionally with diverse populations.
• Ability to work independently as well as function as part of a team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to occasionally work early evening hours and/or weekend days to facilitate recruitment and data collection activities.
• Knowledge of psychology, social work, or public health (Preferred).
• Experience with youth in an inpatient clinical setting (Preferred).

Salary

Details
Full-time / Permanent Remote Work: No Location Requirement: Regular travel required to Butner, North Carolina. Campus-based in Chapel Hill, with expected travel to an inpatient facility in Butner.
