**Job Description**
A fully funded doctoral researcher position is available to investigate the chemical ecology of the Mediterranean Black Widow spider, Latrodectus tredecimguttatus. The project primarily involves conducting behavioral experiments and applying LC/MS and GC/MS based metabolomics approaches to comprehensively explore pheromonal communication within and between sexes.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong interest in evolutionary biology, behavioral ecology, and chemical ecology
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Experience with analytical chemistry (LC/MS, GC/MS)
• Experience with behavioral assays
• Experience with animal husbandry and colony maintenance

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
