**Job Description**
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Computer Science, focusing on structural and algorithmic graph theory. The role involves contributing to the project “Algorithmic meta-classifications for graph containment”, which aims to develop algorithmic meta-classifications for computationally hard graph problems. This project is funded by The Leverhulme Trust and involves collaboration with researchers from Durham University and the University of Warwick.

• Demonstrable ability to present research papers at international conferences and communicate complex information to specialists and within the wider academic community.
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals, commensurate with stage of career (desirable).
• A track record of presenting research at conferences, symposia, or meetings, commensurate with stage of career (desirable).
• Demonstrable ability to develop research proposals and designs in collaboration with other academics (desirable).
• Experience of overseeing students with respect to the development of their practical/research skills e.g. acting as a demonstrator; supervising student projects/practicals (desirable).
