**Job Description**
The School of Physics at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position focusing on Artificial Intelligence techniques to address fundamental questions about the Universe. The successful candidate will join Prof. Aishik Ghosh’s interdisciplinary research group, which designs AI techniques to tackle challenges in theoretical calculations, data analysis, and experiment design within physics. The role involves contributing to projects such as developing neuro-symbolic techniques to automate theoretical physics calculations, designing novel statistical methods for particle physics and astrophysics data analysis, and creating simulation and optimization algorithms for next-generation experiments. The position also involves close collaboration with researchers across various scientific disciplines at Georgia Tech, Berkeley National Lab, CERN, and other global institutions.

• For theory-focused projects: strong background in group theory, quantum field theory (QFT), or gravity, and familiarity with relevant physics software.
• For statistical-inference-focused or experiment-design-focused projects: strong background in statistics and/or particle physics.
