**Job Description**
The Student Research Assistant provides support for research and creative activities under the direct supervision of a faculty member, contributing to the unit’s mission. Key responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data, conducting literature reviews, and assisting with data entry and organization. The assistant also contributes to research design and methodology, and aids in preparing research reports and presentations. This role offers opportunities to develop analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Sufficient knowledge of social science research methods
• Solid organizational skills and the ability to work accurately with a large amount of data
• Analytical and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with data analysis software (e.g., Stata, Datapine, SPSS, Excel, OriginPro)

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Social Science
• Humanities

**Experience**
Other:
• Experience working as a social science research assistant at a laboratory or research facility (Desired)
