This part-time Research Assistant position involves participant-facing activities, technical and data management tasks, and laboratory/administrative support within the Stoessl Laboratory and Pacific Parkinson’s Research Centre. Key responsibilities include participant recruitment and scheduling, administering standardized tests, collecting and processing biospecimens, managing equipment, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role requires adherence to protocols, careful data handling, and contributes to project planning and team training.

• Competence with word processing.
• Proficiency with literature searches (e.g., PubMed).
• Proficiency with databases (e.g., Excel/Access) for data compilation and reporting.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• A related field (high school graduation with some additional training)
Preferred Degree(s) in:
• A relevant discipline (Undergraduate degree)
**Experience**
Other:
• Minimum two years of related experience.
• Experience in a clinical or research environment, particularly with human participants, is an asset.
• Certification in venipuncture and biosafety training is an asset.
