**Job Description**
Eastern Kentucky University has an opening for a Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) in Fundamental Nuclear Physics with Neutrons. The incumbent will support new and ongoing research within Jason Fry’s group, focusing on the Nab and BL3 experiments. This role involves working on magnetometry for Nab, developing the BL3 DAQ, running and tweaking Monte Carlo simulations for both experiments, finishing timing studies in Nab, and supporting integration efforts of the BL3 DAQ with the apparatus. The PDRA will also collaborate with undergraduate students at EKU and nearby institutions, gaining valuable experience in a primarily undergraduate institution setting.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Physics (A.B.D or Ph.D.)

• 5 years (in a relevant field)
