**Job Description**
This project focuses on exploring the fundamental principles and diversity of kinase reprogramming and how the activity of SteE works with other effectors to underpin Salmonella pathogenesis. The post-holder will be responsible for managing their own academic research programme in Salmonella effector biology, with a high degree of autonomy to develop methodology and experimental approaches, building on existing expertise in bacteriology, cell biology, structural biology, and biochemistry.
