**Job Description**
This Post-doctoral Researcher position is part of the “HyTROS – Hydrogen Transport, Offshore and Storage” project, funded by the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) GroenvermogenNL programme. The project aims to fast-track the scaling up of green hydrogen in the Netherlands by providing a platform for applied research into the transport and storage of hydrogen. The role focuses on developing practitioners-oriented technical safety standards and addressing key questions around repurposing existing natural gas systems for hydrogen, ensuring safe and cost-effective operations, and gaining public support.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong research record.
• Ability to publish international academic publications, preferably in top-tier peer-reviewed journals.
• Experience with theory-driven research with a clear eye for practical implications.
• Clear interest in collaborative interdisciplinary research.
• Ability to manage collaborations with partners outside academia (e.g., local governments, businesses).
• Ability to communicate verbally and in written form in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage joint research activities.
• Team player with good communication skills.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Energy Law (Ph.D)

Annual Salary: € 50,892 gross Benefits: Excellent secondary terms of employment, 8% gross annual income holiday allowance, 8.3% end-of-year bonus, 232 holiday hours per calendar year (for full-time employment), participation in a pension scheme for employees.
