**Job Description**
The Writer and Research Assistant provides high-level writing and research support for Harvard Kennedy School’s Office of Communications and Public Affairs. This role involves crafting compelling content for various platforms including the HKS website, press, social media, newsletters, and print publications, as well as conducting thorough research and reporting. The assistant will prepare diverse editorial pieces, video scripts, press releases, and talking points, along with editing and proofreading others’ work. The position requires proactive information anticipation, independent collaboration across units, and effective information synthesis in a fast-paced, dynamic, and decentralized environment.
