**Job Description**
Dr. Tamara Taggart, Associate Professor in the Department of Urban-Global Public Health, offers a Postdoctoral Associate position. This is a 1-year appointment, renewable for two additional years based on performance, productivity, and overall fit. The program enables associates to build a high-caliber scholarly portfolio in social-structural determinants of health, intersectionality, and community-based participatory research through mentored scholarship and independent research opportunities. The candidate will work directly with Dr. Taggart on her research project focusing on a community-driven modeling approach to identify community and policy-level interventions for structural racism’s impact on adolescent substance use and mental health. The associate will also have the opportunity to support community engaged research being conducted through the Rutgers Institute for Sexual and Gender Minority Health (RU-LGBTQ).
