**Job Description**
The Leverhulme Centre for Research on Slavery in War, a collaboration between the University of Nottingham and King’s College London, aims to be the first overarching and integrative initiative to understand the relationships between slavery and war. Structured around four research strands (Re)conceptualising, Understanding, Forecasting, and Tackling, the Centre seeks to transform global responses to modern slavery in conflict settings. This role involves conducting primary and secondary research, contributing to new methodological approaches, and working as part of an interdisciplinary early-career researcher (ECR) team within this new Centre.

• Knowledge of research methods, research design, explanation, and understanding.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Ph.D in a relevant field

• Experience or demonstrable interest in working as part of a research team.
• At a relatively early stage of academic careers, generally not having held postdoctoral positions to pursue independent research for more than three years.
