**Job Description**
This position is for a Research Assistant to work on the Wellcome-funded SHARE project (Environmentally Sustainable Health Research) at King’s College London’s Department of Global Health and Social Medicine. The project critically examines tools for encouraging environmentally sustainable health research, co-led by Dr. Gabrielle Samuel and Dr. Federica Lucivero, with an international research team. The successful applicant will focus on the UK element of the project.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Skills in qualitative research methods, including conducting and analysing qualitative data.
• Use of NVivo.
• Published in peer-reviewed journals.
• Experience of applying theoretical/conceptual analysis (sociological, ethical, anthropological) to empirical data.
• Organisational and administrative skills.
• Interest in issues associated with the environment.
• Knowledge of the UK’s (health) research ecosystem, including clinical trials, wet labs, dry labs (Desirable).
• Knowledge of and familiarity with health research ethics, environmental ethics, and sustainability literature (Desirable).
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Sociology
• Bioethics
• Anthropology
• Similar relevant subject area
