**Job Description**
The successful candidate will participate in the ongoing development of an algorithm platform for digital shadows and twins of machines and structures. This collaborative effort involves other departments from Aarhus University and multiple industrial partners, including a world leader in sensing technology. The development will specifically focus on research and development within system identification and model updating.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong background in computational mechanics and dynamics
• Solid understanding of the theoretical aspects of structural mechanics and dynamics
• Solid understanding of vibration theory
• Solid understanding of numerical analysis
• Substantial experience in scientific computing and programming using Python
• Good communication and language skills (English)
• Good teamworking skills
• Interested in developing skills and competences in software engineering
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Computational Solid Mechanics and Dynamics
• Vibration-based Structural Health Monitoring (preferred)
