**Job Description**
This role involves joining a collaborative research program with Merck Electronics KGaA, focusing on liquid crystal-based technologies. The successful candidate will work on the optics, design, fabrication, optimisation, modelling, and characterisation of liquid crystal devices. Responsibilities also include carrying out research projects, day-to-day interaction with the company, writing papers, contributing to patent applications, and making presentations.
