**Job Description**
This position, part of the German government’s AI strategy expanding ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig, is for a Research Associate / PhD Student at the Center for Interdisciplinary Digital Sciences (CIDS) and ScaDS.AI Dresden. The role focuses on foundational or applied research in Large Language Models (LLMs) and knowledge graphs (KGs), aiming for further academic qualification, typically a PhD.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Solid knowledge in one of the relevant research areas (LLMs, KGs, knowledge extraction, knowledge integration, KG completeness, commonsense-reasoning)
• Excellent programming skills (desired)
• Strong interest in basic research
• Very good written and spoken English skills

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Computer Science
• Computational Linguistics
• Mathematics
• A related field
