**Job Description**
A 3-year PhD scholarship is available to explore the synthesis and assembly of carbohydrate-based supramolecular polymers within the group of Prof. Sophie Beeren at the Technical University of Denmark, in collaboration with Prof E. W. Bert Meijer at the Technical University of Eindhoven. The project focuses on designing new stimuli-responsive supramolecular polymers using carbohydrate-based monomers to create smart, sustainable, and biodegradable materials, leveraging enzyme-mediated dynamic combinatorial chemistry for oligosaccharide synthesis.
**Skills & Abilities**

• Experience working with spectroscopy (NMR, UV-Vis, fluorescence, CD), chromatographic analysis (HPLC), and mass spectrometry (advantageous)
