**Job Description**
This PhD project focuses on designing human-AI collaboration strategies to mitigate biases and foster equitable decision-making in high-stakes contexts like healthcare and hiring. The research will explore characterizing human-AI collaboration for bias mitigation, understanding human needs for bias mitigation, and designing and evaluating socio-technical interventions such as novel explainable AI techniques.
