**Job Description**
A postdoctoral fellowship is available in the Elbert Laboratory to develop mechanistic, predictive computational models of neurodegenerative diseases, with a specific focus on Alzheimer’s Disease. The project is funded for two years by the Alliance for Therapies in Neuroscience (ATN) and involves close collaboration with industry sponsors. The successful applicant will work on revolutionizing the data-to-prediction process, ensuring reproducibility and extensibility through the development of open-source data analysis and modeling tools, and publishing results in peer-reviewed literature.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong background in scientific programming
• Interest in developing open-source data analysis and modeling tools in Python, Julia, or C++
• Strong interest in automated extraction, analysis, and standardization of multimodal biological, biochemical, and medical experimental data
• Experience with parameter optimization and ODE-based modeling
• Strong communication skills
