**Job Description**
The Postdoctoral Associate will engage in both independent research and collaborative research with Drs. Leonid Peisakhin and Joan Barceló within the Division of Social Science. The collaborative research focuses on political violence, with a specific emphasis on the legacy of conflict, transitional justice, and post-conflict reconciliation, with no geographical restrictions. This position is ideally suited for candidates specializing in historical political economy who also possess an interest in conflict studies and broader political economy topics.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Specialization in historical political economy.
• Interest in conflict studies, post-conflict reconciliation, and broader topics in political economy.
• Advanced methodological training, including high-level familiarity with causal inference, experimental methods, and econometric techniques.
• Familiarity with public opinion research (helpful, but not required).
• Experience working with historical sources (helpful, but not required).
