This Postdoc position focuses on optimizing mammography interpretation with AI assistance within a prospective breast cancer screening trial at the Dutch Breast Cancer Screening Program. The project involves conducting a trial with 84,000 women across two screening rounds, integrating advances in AI-based automated interpretation and human visual system knowledge into mammography reading. The goal is to enhance early cancer detection and reduce false alarms, thereby improving the effectiveness and efficiency of large-scale screening programs. The role will involve setting up and executing the trial, data analysis, and dissemination of results.
