**Job Description**
The Clinical Research Assistant provides support to the Center for Tobacco Research within the Comprehensive Cancer Center. This role involves a wide range of research support activities, from participant interaction and data management to bio-specimen processing and regulatory tasks, contributing to studies in pulmonary physiology.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Computer skills (database software applications like REDCap and Excel)
• Experience in customer service (desired)
• Ability to work on weekends to fit with research participants’ schedules (desired)
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biological Sciences
• Health Sciences
• Medical field
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• 2-4 years (relevant experience, preferably in a research capacity)
Other:
• Knowledge or experience in lung physiology, exercise physiology or exercise science (preferred)
• Experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens (desired)
• CPR/AED certification (desired)
