**Job Description**
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will lead a project focused on ultrasound-mediated brain tumour treatment utilizing drug-loaded liposomes. The role involves understanding therapeutic ultrasound and liposome drug delivery systems, applying in vivo imaging techniques such as MRI and NIRF/luminescence, and possessing skills in chemistry and liposome synthesis. The candidate will be responsible for characterizing liposomes, testing their ability to deliver drugs into brain tumour mouse models, assessing antitumour effects, developing patient-derived organoids for orthotopic injection in mice, and assembling/maintaining ultrasound equipment. The project involves using focused ultrasound and circulating microbubbles to non-invasively disrupt the blood-brain barrier and achieve targeted drug release through mild hyperthermia, with a focus on non-invasive treatment of Glioblastoma.
