**Job Description**
This interdisciplinary PhD project aims to develop a vision-based marker-less navigation system using deep learning (DL) for Total Hip Replacement (THR) procedures, overcoming limitations of current image-guided navigation. Key objectives include generating training data, developing segmentation and registration workflows, integrating with in-house THR pre-planning, and validating the system through cadaver experiments. The project seeks to improve surgical workflow, shorten surgery time, enable unrestricted movement tracking, and reduce infection risks.
