**Job Description**
Join the dynamic research community at the University of California, Berkeley, as a Postdoctoral Scholar in Neuroscience, working in the laboratory of Prof. Chunlei Liu. The scholar will conduct research in cell modulation using magnetogenetic techniques, with a focus on Alzheimer’s disease. The research will investigate magnetogenetic techniques for wireless, non-invasive, and on-demand control of genetically targeted neurons and astrocytes.

**Skills & Abilities**
• In vivo two-photon imaging
• Electrophysiology (patch-clamp, cultured neurons, brain slice preparations)
• Neurosurgical techniques (including viral vector injections and cranial window implantation)
• Behavior experiments
• Molecular biology (design/engineering of constructs and viral vectors for cellular targeting)
• Immunohistology (tissue processing and histological preparations for cellular/molecular analysis)
• Data analysis (proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or similar platforms, with strong statistical analysis skills)
