Principal Researcher

**Job Description**
An international tender is open for the recruitment of one permanent, full-time Principal Researcher within the university Research Career, specializing in the scientific area of Physiology and the sub-area of Cerebral Neurovascular Physiology. The position is based at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra and is opened pursuant to the Scientific Research Career Statute (ECIC) and other applicable legislation. The successful candidate will contribute to research in the specified scientific sub-area.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Proven scientific and technological experience in multiphoton imaging
• Proficiency at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) in Portuguese or English

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Physiology / Cerebral Neurovascular Physiology
Other:
• Doctoral degree awarded more than five years prior to the closing date of the application period
• Degree must be legally recognised in Portugal

**Experience**
Other:
• H-index equal to or greater than 15 in Scopus
• At least 1000 citations in Scopus
• Principal researcher in projects with cumulative funding equal to or greater than 2 million euros
