**Job Description**
The postdoctoral scholar will conduct methodological research in infectious disease epidemiology within the Biostatistics Division, College of Public Health. This role focuses on developing practical and computationally efficient methods for adapting and fitting models from survival analysis to infectious disease transmission data, including genetic sequences from outbreaks and epidemics. The research may involve data at household or population levels and can encompass causal inference, model diagnostics, estimation of secondary attack risks or infectiousness profiles, reproduction number estimation, and tracking population-level infection spread with consideration of social and environmental determinants of health.
