**Job Description**
This Ph.D. project focuses on the development of novel chemical looping technologies essential for a low-carbon energy future, particularly for efficient and scalable chemical conversion processes like low-carbon hydrogen production. Funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering, the project will involve the selection of appropriate reactions for chemical looping reactors, the design and fabrication of oxygen carrier materials (OCMs), the design and operation of the reactor, and a comprehensive evaluation of the economics and impact of these transformative technologies for the chemical industry.
