**Job Description**
The Institute of Physics (IoP) at the University of Amsterdam is seeking ambitious Postdoc Researchers for a fully funded experimental project within the Soft Matter group. This role focuses on deepening the understanding of physical mechanisms involved in liquid sprays, emulsions, and solid friction, with applications spanning pharmaceuticals, food industry, agriculture, and semiconductors. The successful candidate will conduct experimental work, from bibliographical research and setup design to data analysis, while fostering independence and creative initiative within an interdisciplinary research group.

Annual Salary: €42,552 - €66,456 (gross monthly salary ranges between €3,546 to €5,538) Position Classification: UFO profile Postdoc 4 Union Affiliation: Collective Labour Agreement of Universities of the Netherlands is applicable Benefits: 8% holiday allowance, 8.3% year-end allowance, possibility of '30% ruling' tax agreement for non-Dutch applicants.
