You who will support the core laboratory functions within the Institute. Your primary role function will be core laboratory support including housekeeping, health and safety, maintenance of equipment, and training of researchers and students on equipment.Occasionally, you may be required to support other departments within the institute, so a flexible approach to work is essential. A large proportion of the job is core laboratory support, but occasionally, there will be opportunities to provide technical and experimental research support for members of academic staff, as well as high-quality experimental support on a cost-recovery model, but this will be limited. It is important to understand that this role is not a dedicated research technician on a specific research project.A flexible approach to working is essential.You must be educated to BTEC Higher level (or equivalent) and have the knowledge and practical experience in one or more of the biological subject areas (eg.
