We are seeking to recruit a Computational Biology Data Scientist to work in biosafety and security projects aligned within the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory. This post will sit with a supportive team of experienced data scientists at the Computational Biology Facility, with regular opportunity for skill development and knowledge sharing. You will apply your computational skills to address key research questions with a particular interest in developing robust biomarkers and techniques for data integration.You should hold a PhD in bioinformatics, systems biology or related subject or have equivalent work experience. You should have significant experience in the application of statistics, computational and bioinformatics techniques to answer biological questions. In particular, you should have experience with omics data, preferably with proteomics.
