**Job Description**
The School of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) is seeking a dedicated and interdisciplinary scientist to join a transformative research initiative focused on developing next-generation chemo-sensing platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing solid-state, surface-based electrochemical sensors for real-time detection of solid-phase analytes on skin and other complex surfaces. This role provides a unique opportunity to apply electrochemical fundamentals to create wearable health monitoring technologies with real-world impact.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong experimental background in electrochemical system design, electrode/electrolyte interface engineering, and battery or sensor fabrication.
• Demonstrated experience in in-situ/ex-situ characterization techniques (e.g., SEM, Cryo-TEM, XPS, XRD).
• Demonstrated ability to design and fabricate device prototypes for innovative applications.
• Strong track record of publications in high-impact journals.
• Capable of conducting independent research while effectively collaborating in a multidisciplinary environment.
