Pediatrics Program Manager-35208University StaffDescriptionUniversity of Colorado Anschutz Medical CampusDepartment: OrthopedicsJob Title: Pediatrics Program ManagerPosition 00828314– Requisition 35208Job Summary:The Peds Program Manager in the Department of Orthopedics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the business activities for all pediatric faculty employed by the Department of Orthopedics. This position will oversee the fiscal and business affairs in support of the mission and goals of the assigned region and providers, the Department and the School. Currently the position does not have supervisory responsibilities although that is subject to change.Primary duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:Accountable for financial performance of assigned providers, locations, or programs.Conducts monthly reviews of Profit and Loss statements and revenue cycle reports with assigned providers to ensure performance to target/budget.Ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate financial data trends for the purposes of driving top-line revenue and managing operating expenses.Partners with billing and revenue cycle operations to manage revenue cycle performance for assigned providers, including reviewing claim denials and write-offs and supporting AR teams in timely appeals with insurance.Develops a deep understanding of the physician and healthcare landscape in assigned markets/locations; assists in identifying market opportunities for growth.Partners with clinic operations teams to monitor provider performance on operational metrics, including but not limited to patient access and productivity.Partners with medical directors and hospital leadership to monitor KPI performance for hospital-based clinics and ORs (volumes, OR utilization, released time, etc.)Work Location:Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid scheduleof some days per week on campus, as needed for in-person meetings, and as needed at our affiliate pediatrics clinics.Why Join Us:CU Medicine Orthopedics has an expert team of Orthopedic providers that consists of fellowship-trained surgeons and specialists who provide the highest quality, comprehensive care for your orthopedic needs.
