**Job Description**
A postdoctoral position is available to study deformation mechanisms in refractory alloys using atomic-scale calculations and to apply machine learning to materials discovery.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Experience with VASP and high-performance computing
• Proficiency in programming (Python or C or C++ or Fortran)
• Experience with developing machine learning interatomic potentials
• A solid background in materials physics and defect properties

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Materials Science and Engineering

**Experience**
Other:
• 1 year of experience with developing machine learning interatomic potentials (desired)
