Florida International University is seeking a motivated Student Research Assistant with a strong background in AI, data analytics, and optimization to support ongoing research projects within the Engineering System Management department. The successful candidate will possess solid coding skills, specifically with Python, for model implementation and data analysis. Responsibilities include assisting in algorithm development, running simulations, analyzing results, and preparing technical documentation, requiring strong problem-solving ability and independent work.

**Qualifications**
Required:
• Currently enrolled as a student at FIU with a minimum of six (6) credits as an Undergraduate student or three (3) credits as a Graduate student during the Fall and Spring semesters.
• During Summer semesters, students must remain enrolled and cannot have graduated.
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• At least 3 semesters of FIU work experience or related experience outside the University with satisfactory or higher from prior student appointment.
Other:
• Subject to a pre-employment criminal background check.
