**Job Description**
The Digital Building Technologies (DBT) Section at DTU Civil and Mechanical Engineering Department is seeking an ambitious and motivated PhD student for a three-year project. This PhD project emphasizes the development and testing of next-generation serious gaming approaches focusing on construction safety, health, well-being, or emergency response applications. The project aims to develop a field-realistic Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) prototype for education and training, incorporating Digital Twin Construction data, multimodal tools, and real-time agent-based simulation. Utilizing smart serious gaming, novel artificial intelligence will forecast human behavior and provide personalized learning for improved decision-making. This scholarship is part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network ‘NATECH Risk management and Resilience of High-TECH industries and Critical infrastructures across EUrope’ (REUNATECH), focusing on tackling challenges related to cascading hazards and NaTech events.
