Scheduled Hours40Position SummaryPerforms data analysis and database management for an established clinical research team focused on hip disease with a strong track record of funding. Responsible for data harmonization and data sharing across different multicenter studies. Assists investigators in the design of experiments, clinical trials, and epidemiological studies. May be required to assume major responsibility on large projects.Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities:Performs data analysis and/or data management using the latest and best methodologies as implemented in statistical packages (including SAS and SPSS) including generation of tables and graphs.Performs management duties as part of several large funded longitudinal data repository containing clinical and imaging data Harmonizes databases across multiple independent studies by working with database team of each study, standardizing database dictionary and creating standard metadata template for data sharing with both internal and external investigators.Advises and assists investigators in the design of experiments, clinical trials and epidemiological studies.Assists in data base design, implementation and maintenance of data collected over time for research purposes, including acquisition, editing and reporting.Data manager of longitudinalREDCapdatabases for several large, multi-center research projects; Maintains data progress and data quality through routine reporting.Ensures quality ofREDCapdata meets research expectations through communication with external sites about missing data points and outliers; Utilizes REDCap and other EDC systems as required for generation of such forms and reports; Performs quality control on allREDCapdata Experience with SAS, knowledge of importing data throughREDCap API is a plus Lead the response toREDCapdata queries from Principal Investigators and external collaborators; Monitors and evaluates data integrity.
