**Job Description**
The Postdoc Researcher will contribute to the development of digital solutions to enable informed decision-making for sustainable and responsible resource use in manufacturing. This involves research projects focused on data management, processing, and aggregation to support complex decision-making, with a particular focus on the Lasers4MaaS project. The role will involve developing data exchange protocols for Digital Product Passports and creating Decision Support Systems (DSS) for sustainability and circularity assessment, integrated into a manufacturing digital twin.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Expertise in Data management and programming (e.g., Python)
• Expertise in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
• Expertise in Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA)
• Expertise in Multiple Objective Optimization (MOO)
• Strong motivation to develop expertise in desired areas if not fully possessed
• Recorded experience in planning and executing research tasks
• Excellent social and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with researchers, industry, and policy actors
• Excellent English language skills in writing and and speaking

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Computer science
• Information science
• Industrial ecology
• Operational research
• Environmental process engineering
• Environmental sciences
• Another related field (Ph.D)

Annual Salary: €42,552 - €66,456 gross Position Classification: Pay scale 10 (Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities) Benefits: Holiday allowance (8%), end-of-year bonus (8.3%), attractive pension scheme (ABP), extensive options for secondary employment conditions (sabbaticals, paid parental leave, individual choices model for benefits), hybrid working options, home-working allowance, university-provided laptop and home office support.
