About UsYou would be joining NTU Psychology, the largest department in the University with over 160 academic staff, 30 research and support staff and 100 doctoral students. We currently have nearly 3000 undergraduate students and a further 300 post graduate taught students.We are nationally recognised for our outstanding student experience and are one of the top 200 Psychology Departments in the World. We are innovative in our teaching and assessment with a strong focus on student experience. Our courses are built around a strong tutorial programme, which aims to provide a personalised experience for all our students.NTU Psychology has a strong commitment to wellbeing and mental health at all levels of our provision and launched a BSc Psychology with Counselling course in 2020. In addition to that we have a mental health pathway in our core undergraduate program (BSc Psychology), a significant number of specialist mental health final year options and several popular MSc courses in Psychological Wellbeing and Mental Health and Forensic Mental Health.This year we launched our MSc Clinical Associate Psychologist apprenticeship course. We employ practitioners and academics to deliver these courses and we place a high value on practice-based teaching. We want to add experienced counsellors and psychotherapists to our faculty of staff to strengthen our teaching of Counselling, psychological wellbeing and mental health.
