**Job Description**
The Principal Research Fellow will support and co-lead the development of the NTU College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences’ Global Asia initiative, with a specific focus on the history of Asian Political Thought. Responsibilities include identifying research topics and researchers, securing funding, building relations with donors, establishing scholarly networks across Asia and beyond, and conducting world-leading research in the field of Global Asia.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Possess Asia-wide research networks, with a strong track-record of engagement with China, India and other societies throughout the region.
• Possess significant experience organising academic and other events, and building scholarly networks.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Relevant discipline (Ph.D)
**Experience**
Other:
• More than 10 years of research experience working in different cultural environments.
• Conduct world class research in the history and politics of Global Asia.
