**Job Description**
This temporary casual researcher assists with field and occasional laboratory measurements. The role involves helping the project P.I. in the field, sampling lichen communities for air quality biomonitoring, as well as retrieving lichen transplants from across Minnesota and collecting lichens from natural areas. Occasional laboratory experiments will include microscopy and the use of a chlorophyll fluorometer to analyze lichen samples. The work schedule is flexible.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Ability to recognize Minnesota lichen species.
• Detail-oriented (Preferred)
• Team-oriented (Preferred)

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• BA/BS or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years

**Experience**
Other:
• Experience with lichen communities sampling in the field.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience with laboratory analyses of lichen ecophysiology (Preferred).
